Finca

Mallorca. Island of the wind.

A place of golden beaches and a light-blue sea. The almond harvest is at hand. In addition, juicy oranges, lemons, and figs are ready to be picked and taken to the market. Olive trees bewitch the country with their curled branches and sumptuous vineyards invite passers-by to walk among their warm earth. In the midst of this landscape, your centuries-old natural stone farmhouse provides a home and supports your large windmill: your FINCA.

Listen to the wind, which propels your windmill! Then take in the course of the yearly harvest the weetest and most valuable fruits from the land. Load them on your old donkey cart and travel around the island, selling them everywhere. If you manage this quickly, you will soon be the richest farmer on the island.

Dominion: Intrigue

Something's afoot. The steward smiles at you like he has a secret, or like he thinks you have a secret, or like you think he thinks you have a secret. There are secret plots brewin, you're sure of it. At the very least, there are yours. A passing servant murmurs, "The eggs are on the plate." You frantically search your codebook for the translation before realizing he means that breakfast is ready. Excellent. Everything is oging according to plan.
Intrigue adds 25 new Kingdom cards to Dominion. There are victory cards that do some new things for you, underlings that give you a choice as to what thye do, and a variety of other people and places. These cards can be played with the cards from the basic game or on their own. The rules include how to play a game with up to 6 players. By combining the money and victory cards with those in the basic game, players will have sufficient cards to play with more than 4 players.

Tichu (2008 edition)

Over 642 million Chinese play Tichu nearly every day! The goal of the game is very simple, just get rid of your cards.

Tichu is primarily a partnership game for four. This new edition of the game comes with two complete decks of cards, so players may alternate playing decks when playing with four or play with larger groups.

The groups, however, should not exceed 10 players.

Enjoy this great game!

You can read a rules summary for this game at Steve's blog.

Mü & Lots More (Mu and Lots More)

This collection contains four unusually great card games by four great designers. The games are called: Mü, NJET, Was sticht?, and Meinz. Each of these games is a trick-taking game, but each also has a very special way of handling the trick-taking: one may choose his own hand cards, trump is chosen by the players together, or none can win a trick by merely calling it his!

One box, four games, and endless fun await you!

Note: I consider Mü to be the world's best trick taking game. Yes, even better than Bridge. Try it and see if you agree with me!

PÜNCT (PUNCT)

PÜNCT is a connection game: the goal is to link two opposite sides. On your turn, you either bring a new piece into play, or you move a piece that is already on the board. The more pieces you bring into play, the more possibilities to have to complete a connection. But… each time you put a new piece on the board, you reveal a bit of what your plan is. The trick is to place your pieces in such a way that your opponent will expect you to do something different from what you really have in mind. As such, PÜNCT is not only about making a connection, but also about misleading your opponent! Enjoy it!
PÜNCT is the final game of PROJECT GIPF, a series that consists of 6 games and a number of additional pieces called "potentials". Each game in this project is playable separately, but also in combination with GIPF. It all comes together with a system that makes winning or losing a GIPF-related game a strategic factor of the game GIPF itself. The purpose is to offer you a wide variety of possibilities, so that you will be able to decide for yourself which version of GIPF you would like to play at any given moment.

Metro

The eve of the 1900 World's Fair is approaching, and excavations are taking place across the city. Bizarre-looking scaffolds arise everywhere. Tunnels are built in the streets to later be covered with earth. Take part in the construction of the Paris Metro!

Metro is a light tile-laying game that can be enjoyed by almost any age group.
Carcassonne

Carcassonne is a wonderful tile laying game and it's one of our family favorites. It was the winner of the 2001 "Spiel des Jahres" German Game of the Year award.
In Carcassonne, players take turns choosing a tile and adding it to the board. On each turn you may choose to place one of your markers (miniature people - we call them "meeples") on a ladscape element of that tile to claim it as your own. Of course that assumes that you have any meeples left to place. Different landscape elements score differently and they include roads, cities, fields and cloisters. Some of your meeples will be returned to your hand for reuse as cities roads and cloisters are completed and scored. Some will remain on the board for the entire game only to be scored at the very end after the last tile has been played. The trick is to maximize your potential for scoring while not over committing your meeples.

Citadels

You are the lord of a medieval citadel in this card game from award winning designer Bruno Faidutti.

Each round players secretly select a different role from the medieval power structure. Will you be the king or the assassin? Perhaps you’ll be the merchant or the magician? Each role brings with it different powers but it also brings different vulnerabilities. Because the roles are chosen in secret, no one knows for sure who is who.

This is a great family game because it keeps everyone involved and it’s relatively easy to play.

This edition of Citadels includes the 11 expansion cards, 14 new district cards, and wooden king token that are found in the Dark City expansion.
